What Do Japan and Delaware Have In Common?

Objectively comparing broadband speeds is an exercise that requires more than a simple side-by-side chart. When you consider the sheer size, geography and population density of a country like the U.S. versus a country like Japan, it’s pretty clear that they share little in common.  So instead, while it's not a perfect match, comparing nations to U.S. states with similar population characteristics is far more accurate.

So to answer the question, in spite of their extreme differences, Delaware and Japan have about the same delivered peak broadband speed.
