Whether it’s your first or 10th time at the show, here’s a cheat sheet for #INTX2016 to help you get the most out of this year’s Internet & Television Expo.

TED

TEDThis year we’re excited to announce a first ever partnership with TED, the organization behind the thought-provoking and often viral TED Talks. Four different speakers will give talks around the theme of the positive power of disruption. This can’t-miss program will be on the General Session stage Tuesday at 9:30 am. Lobstah Tank

LobsterWatch start-ups pitch cool and innovative ideas in this head-to-head competition for cash prizes.

The week before the show, teams will duke it out in the first round for a chance to advance to the finals, held live at #INTX2016. The top three teams in the finals will win cash prizes, while the best pitch wins a private face-to-face meeting with potential investors.

It all goes down Tuesday, May 17 at 3:00 pm in Imagine Park.

 

 

 

The Lawn 

Need to recharge in every sense of the word? The Lawn at the INTX Marketplace is the place to grab a bite, rest your legs, snap a selfie, and have some fun. Featuring a mini golf course, table tennis, and a giant chess board, The Lawn also offers plenty of charging stations for your digital gadgets.

Swing by for daily happy hours and special activities including a book signing by featured speaker Arianna Huffington and free treats from the Food Network.

ShowcaseIn the epicenter of the floor, right next to Imagine Park you’ll find cutting edge technology like virtual reality on display. Make sure to drop in while you’re walking around the show floor to get a peek at what the future of entertainment looks like.

Located right off the Marketplace floor, Imagine Park presents the boldest, most compelling ideas for advancing the future of internet and television. Sessions tackle issues ranging from virtual reality in entertainment to the rise of app-based TV culture.

Spring Tech Forum

Learn from leading technologists, developers, and engineering experts as they talk about the latest advancements in digital media technology. A collaboration between Cablelabs, NCTA, and SCTE, Spring Technical Forum topics include big data analytics and implications for content delivery, new advancements in wireless home networking, and techniques for improving the internet experience. Forums will be held all three days of #INTX2016, giving you plenty of opportunities to drop in.
