NCTA Adds Top Cable, Broadband and Programming Executives to 2006 National Show General Sessions

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Cable & Telecommunications Association today announced further additions to The 2006 National Show roster of general session speakers, which now includes many of the top executives in the cable and telecommunications industry.

New general session speakers announced include:

  • Glenn Britt, Chairman & CEO, Time Warner Cable
  • Steve Burke, Chief Operating Officer, Comcast Corporation
  • John Chambers, President & CEO, Cisco Systems, Inc.
  • Anne Sweeney, Co-Chair, Disney Media Networks & President, Disney-ABC Television Group
  • Ralph Roberts, Chairman, Comcast Corporation
  • Tom Rutledge, Chief Operating Officer, Cablevision Systems Corporation
  • David Zaslav, President, NBC Universal Cable

Closing Night Party Returns – Motorola to Sponsor

Following on the footsteps of last year’s popular closing night party in San Francisco, NCTA also announced that The 2006 National Show Party, sponsored by Motorola, will be held at The Tabernacle in downtown Atlanta, and will feature Georgia’s own B-52’s.  The Tabernacle is a historical landmark and Atlanta's top concert and party venue.  The party will open at 9:00 pm, Tuesday, April 11, and is open to all credentialed convention delegates, pending capacity.
