NCTA recently hosted a discussion about the future of wireless spectrum allocation and the potential models that best serve America’s needs. The event, organized by The Women’s Tech & Telecom Partnership, featured NCTA Vice President & Associate General Counsel Traci Biswese and former Chief Technology Officer at the Federal Communications Commission, Dr. Monisha Ghosh.
Biswese gave an informative presentation on Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS), an innovative use of shared spectrum that’s powering connectivity solutions from college campuses, to warehouses, to rural communities, just to name a few examples.
Afterward, the two held an engaging discussion on topics ranging from advancement in the broadband space to the power of shared spectrum for the future of connectivity.
