The 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup kicks off today, and this edition is the largest in the tournament’s history. For the first time, three nations are co-hosting — the United States, Mexico, and Canada — and FIFA is projecting 6 billion engagements across TV, streaming, and digital platforms globally.
- 104 total matches, running June 11 through July 19
- 48 competing nations, up from 32 in Qatar 2022
- 16 host cities across the United States, Mexico, and Canada
Here’s how to watch.
Fox and FS1: English-Language Broadcast Coverage
Fox Sports holds the exclusive English-language broadcast rights to all 104 matches. Of those, 69 will air live on Fox broadcast television — more than double the 34 that aired on Fox during Qatar 2022, and the most matches ever carried on network television for a World Cup. The remaining 35 matches will air on FS1. Every match will also stream on Fox One and the Fox Sports App.
Telemundo and Peacock: Spanish-Language Coverage
NBCUniversal’s Telemundo is the exclusive Spanish-language home of all 104 matches. During the Group Stage — 72 matches running June 11 through June 27 — coverage will be distributed across Telemundo (60 matches), Universo (12 matches), Peacock, and the Telemundo App.
Peacock carries every match in Spanish and features a dedicated Spanish-language World Cup Hub with tools designed to deepen the viewing experience:
- Multiview, letting fans watch multiple matches at once
- Catch up with key plays and can’t miss highlights
- Live picks and trivia — available in Spanish for the first time
- New features including Visión de Campo and Tourney Brackets for select matches
Telemundo’s broadcast team is anchored by Andrés Cantor, Luis Omar Tapia, and José Luis López Salido, with a deep roster of former players and World Cup champions contributing analysis throughout the tournament.
The Xfinity X1 Experience
Comcast built on the interactive viewing features it introduced during the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics to put together a dedicated World Cup hub on the Xfinity X1 platform. The hub is accessible in both English and Spanish and brings together live matches, content discovery, and aggregation in one place.
Returning features include Create Your Own Multiview, the interactive Fan View companion, and AI-generated highlights. For the World Cup, Comcast is also expanding its RealTime4K low-latency format — all Fox games and select Telemundo games will be available in it — and introducing smart-boost WiFi, which lets customers watching in RealTime4K prioritize their X1 box over other devices on their home network directly from an on-screen prompt.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off on June 11. Full schedules are available at Telemundo and Fox Sports.
