Washington, DC – Mark Greatrex, President, Cox Communications, Inc., was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of NCTA – The Internet & Television Association during its annual elections held on October 23, 2024. The Board of Directors brings together a wealth of industry experience and a shared vision for a more connected future, delivering cutting-edge services and award-winning programming.
In addition to Greatrex as Chairman, the following officers were elected: Chris Winfrey, President & CEO, Charter Communications, as Vice Chairman; Dave Watson, President & CEO, Connectivity & Platforms and Senior EVP, Comcast Corporation, as Treasurer; and outgoing NCTA Chairman Pat McAdaragh, Chair & CEO, Midco, as interim Secretary.
Richard Sjoberg, President & CEO, Sjoberg’s Inc. was reelected to serve as a Rural/Midsize System Director for another two-year term.
On the programmers’ side, Chris McCarthy, Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President & CEO of Showtime/MTVE Studios, was welcomed to the Board after being elected to serve as an At-Large Programmer Director for a two-year term. Other At-Large Programmer Directors elected were incumbents Paul Buccieri, President & Chairman of A+E Networks Group, for another two-year term and Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media, for one year to finish out the remaining term of a seat previously vacated.
Associate Director Chuck Treadway, President & CEO of CommScope was elected to serve a two-year term.
