Most Americans Are Satisfied With Their Internet Service
2017 saw lots of change and progress in technology and innovation. Everything from virtual reality to distance learning took huge strides in availability and adoption. Critical to consumer adoption of many of these new technologies are robust internet networks that have the speed and capacity to handle high bit rate real-time interactions.
In 2017, cable ISPs invested billions of dollars to update and expand broadband networks across the country, including launching gigabit services in hundreds of communities.
According to a recent NCTA survey conducted by Morning Consult, consumers have noticed. When it comes to speed, security and reliability, a strong majority of consumers are satisfied with their home internet service. These results are consistent with consumer satisfaction figures from last spring, further reinforcing the value and importance of internet service in consumers’ lives.
