Timothy Graham, Alexander Minard and Kelsey Odom Join NCTA’s Government Relations Team

Washington, D.C. – NCTA – The Internet & Television Association today announced the addition of Timothy Graham, Alexander Minard and Kelsey Odom to its Government Relations team.

“We are very pleased to be able to grow our team with such experienced and talented individuals who will expand and deepen our relationships and engagement with federal and state legislators, external groups and a wide variety of intergovernmental organizations,” said Joanna McIntosh, Senior Vice President and Chief, Government Relations, NCTA.

In March, NCTA welcomed Timothy as Vice President, External Affairs, where he is responsible for NCTA’s relationships with civil rights and public interest groups as well as for the association’s advocacy and partnerships with various state and local intergovernmental organizations. He most recently served as Legislative Counsel in the Office of Congressman G. K. Butterfield, and prior was a Legal Fellow for the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, Democratic Staff. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Graham is a member of the D.C. Bar.

Alex joins NCTA as Vice President & State Legislative Counsel, a newly created position with responsibility for NCTA’s state legislative portfolio, analysis of state communications and technology policy and legislation, and for the association’s advocacy and partnerships with various state and local regulatory and intergovernmental organizations. He comes to NCTA with fifteen years of experience at the Federal Communications Commission, Wireline Competition Bureau, Telecommunications Access Policy Division, most recently as Deputy Division Chief. He is a graduate of the William & Mary School of Law and Kenyon College. Minard is a member of the Virginia Bar.

Kelsey also begins as Vice President, Federal Government Relations, where she is responsible for working with many Democratic Members, committee staff and caucuses­. She most recently served as GOTV Operations Director, Biden for Colorado, and was previously Director, PAC and Political Affairs, at the Consumer Technology Association. Odom also held positions at Kieloch Consulting and The Frost Group as a political consultant for several Democratic congressional candidates. She earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and a B.A. from Georgia Southern University.
