Industry Jobs Survey Reveals Enormous Job Variety and New Disciplines

The cable industry is ever-evolving and growing when it comes to creating job opportunities and expanding its dynamic list of roles and positions, a recent survey indicates. More than 800 different job titles exist across the industry, according to the Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association’s (CTHRA) 2017 Annual Compensation Surveys. The United States ranks third in the world in internet inclusivity, according to the 2018 Inclusive Internet Index conducted by The Economist Intelligence Unit. The report, in its second year, examined 86 countries and ranked them according to their scores in four categories: availability, affordability, relevance and readiness.
