Washington, D.C. – NCTA – The Internet & Television Association today announced the addition of Jared Sher to its Legal & Regulatory Affairs team, effective April 15, 2019.
Sher replaces the recently retired Jill Luckett and will serve as Chief Counsel, Program Network Policy & Deputy General Counsel, plus be a member of NCTA’s Senior Staff team. Sher will join NCTA following The Walt Disney Company's purchase of 21st Century Fox, where he worked since 2012 in increasingly senior roles, most recently as Executive Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. He previously was Counsel and Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP from 2000 – 2012 and earned both a B.A. and J.D. from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
