Over the past two decades, cable providers have invested more than $275 billion to deploy and continually upgrade networks and other infrastructure. This investment has led to the deployment of fast internet networks that are available to 93 percent of American households.
The result of this ongoing investment? In just the last few years, internet speeds have quadrupled, enabling consumers to enjoy all of the streaming, downloading, and gaming they desire. And these networks are ready for a future in which virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence and other interactive technologies will become household products.
