Cable's Diversity Week 2013

In four days, Cable’s Diversity Week 2013 kicks off in New York City. Organizations and individuals from all corners of the cable industry will be coming together to share in their commitment to diversity.

Diversity Week is a great time to be reminded of all the ways that diversity is important in the cable industry. From the hiring strategies to the ever-changing customer base all the way to the pure multitude of content on cable networks today, diversity is vital to the success of the cable industry.

Most importantly, cable is one of the only industries that holds an industry-wide weeklong conference dedicated solely to diversity. Diversity Week stimulates ideas and solutions and creates conversations that make the cable industry stronger.

The Walter Kaitz Foundation, together with Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) and The Emma L. Bowen Foundation, are cable’s diversity advocates that strengthen the contributions of women and multi-ethnic professionals in cable.
