Cable Tech Talk Reporting from CES 2014

central

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the world’s most widely attended tradeshows. It’s equal parts future-tech showcase, over-the-top celebration, and billion-dollar marketplace. Held every January in Las Vegas, CES is a sneak peek into some of the technology we’ll have in the months (and years) to come. For the Cable Tech Talk team, attending CES is a chance to discover and share with you the future of broadband, TV, Wi-Fi, and the yet-imagined ways we’ll connect. For months we’ve been preparing and starting January 7th, we’ll be reporting on what we see and touch and who we talk to. We’ll be sharing videos, pictures, interviews, and hands-on tech reviews from the floor of one of the world’s great technology proving grounds.

For more on what to expect from the packed halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Mashable’s “CES 2014: 5 Tech Trends to Watch” is a good primer.  And a special shout out to Cox Communications for installing 200 temporary Wi-Fi access points throughout the convention center. You can keep track of our experiences and reports on Twitter (@NCTACable), Facebook (facebook.com/nctacable) and of course, on www.cabletechtalk.com. And if there’s something specific you’d like to see, feel free to reach out to us directly via the comments section, on Twitter, or on Facebook. We love questions!
