NCTA Internship Program

NCTA’s Internship Program is designed to offer awareness and exposure to the cable industry.  We provide both paid part-time and full-time internships during the school year and the summer months to qualified applicants.  Each internship takes place in our Washington, D.C. office, located close to our Nation’s Capitol.

  • A formal evaluation process

Candidates must:

  • Be full-time secondary or post-secondary students

  • Be in good academic standing

  • Be enrolled at an accredited institution

  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills

NCTA uses the following factors and/or activities to identify candidates:

  • Student academic performance

  • Relevant experience

  • Areas of study

  • Personal interviews 

NCTA places Interns in the following Departments:

  • Association Affairs

  • Communications and Public Affairs

  • Government Relation

  • Legal

  • Program Network Policy

  • Science and Technology

  • The Walter Kaitz Foundation

Application deadlines:

  • Summer internships: April 30th

  • Fall internships: September 30th

  • Spring internships: November 1st
