As America targets efforts towards connecting every community to robust broadband, cable providers continue to do what they have always done: build out their networks to reach as many Americans as possible.

Maryland
Charter has launched gigabit service to over 1,000 homes and businesses in Somerset County. That’s higher than the number of homes initially expected to be connected when the project started.
Pennsylvania
Comcast announced the rollout of its reliable, high-speed Internet network to 3,400 additional homes and businesses in Oxford Borough and Lower Oxford Township.
New Jersey
Comcast announced that its reliable, high-speed network is now available to the first homes and businesses in Lopatcong and Greenwich, as part of an expansion that will ultimately reach more than 15,700 homes and businesses in the Greater Phillipsburg area.
New York
Charter has extended their fiber-rich network to Preston, located in rural Chenango County. With the extension, about 100 homes and businesses have access to gigabit speeds in one of the least connected counties in the state.
Virginia
Comcast has announced a major broadband expansion in the town of Bedford, which anticipates connecting 4,500 homes and businesses to the company’s high-speed network.
West Virginia
Comcast has connected the first residents and businesses in Princeton. The project is expected to connect more than 5,000 homes and businesses to reliable, high-speed, symmetrical service.
