The Walter Kaitz Foundation Launches Redesigned Website

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Walter Kaitz Foundation today launched a redesigned website that offers information and education about the foundation plus new tools and resources to assist the diversity efforts of companies in the cable industry.

The redesigned site – which can be viewed at www.walterkaitz.org – highlights the Walter Kaitz Foundation’s recently introduced logo, “Diversity 365: Every Day Belongs to Everyone” plus includes new graphical elements and an updated layout that includes web-based tools.

“We are excited to launch the redesigned website to serve as a central resource for diversity information within the cable industry,” said Debbie A. Smith, Walter Kaitz Foundation Executive Director. “The website will enable companies to learn more about diversity initiatives plus help them identify new qualified minority vendors and employees.”

New features of the website include:

  • A Supplier Diversity feature that will serve as a conduit between the cable industry and the minority and women-owned business community. The Supplier Diversity component will allow companies to post RFPs, register to become certified in the program, as well as provide information on what procurement opportunities exist in the cable industry for diverse companies.

  • A Career Center section that will help cable organizations identify qualified women and minority candidates to fill positions throughout the industry. Companies will be able to post job openings and provide an opportunity for visitors to register, create a profile, and search for jobs in the cable industry.

  • Information and history about the Foundation including biography of Walter Kaitz, information about the annual fundraising dinners, a list of the Kaitz Fellows and Kaitz Partners, links to other diversity organizations, plus a calendar of industry events.
