The NCTA Technical Papers™

Entering its 45th year of publication, The NCTA Technical Papers™ offer a prestigious venue for cable engineers to present the latest in cutting-edge broadband technology.

A “value add” to The National Show technical sessions, the NCTA Technical Papers are an extensive collection of published works by the industry’s most distinguished technical authors, and are regarded as the only archive of the advances in cable and telecommunications technology.  The 2004 edition provides cable technologists the opportunity to express new engineering concepts and the science behind them, while preserving their papers in print as a valuable resource for the engineering community. This year’s papers were selected from more than 150 submissions in a vigorous peer review process.

"The NCTA Technical Papers have served as the record of our industry's technical knowledge for the past 44 years.  NCTA’s entire technical program is a significant resource for the cable industry,” said Dan Pike , Chief Technology Officer for GCI Cable & Entertainment and Chair of NCTA’s 2004 paper selection committee.

Convention attendees may purchase the 2004 NCTA Technical Papers in book or CD-ROM format at the show price of $50.00; after the show, the books and CD-ROMs will cost $75.  For more information, and to order the 2004 NCTA Technical Papers (or previous volumes in the series), contact the NCTA Science and Technology Department at 202-775-3637.
