“Early-Bird” Booking Offers Significant Advantages

Washington, D.C. – Online registration is now open for The National Show, the 53rd Annual Convention & International Exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), May 2-5, 2004, in New Orleans, LA.

NCTA delegates, representing all facets of the cable and telecommunications industry – including cable system operators, cable networks, industry suppliers, financial analysts and news media – now have the option to register on-line at www.thenationalshow.com or to download registration forms to be sent to NCTA via fax or mail.

In addition to the cable and telecommunications industry, other industries expected to be represented at the convention include satellite communications, computer manufacturers, consumer electronics and suppliers of new interactive services such as gaming, shopping and video-on-demand.

Attendees who register for The National Show prior to March 12, 2004, will save $100 on registration fees, and are assured of receiving all convention credentials prior to the show.

In addition, special savings and benefits are available for delegates who book hotel reservations through NCTA Convention Housing. Early registration offers the opportunity to receive first choice of hotels – an important consideration this year, as the closing weekend of New Orleans’ famous Jazz Fest will coincide with the opening of The National Show.

The official convention web site, www.thenationalshow.com, is the on-line hub for delegates and exhibitors at The National Show. The site serves as the main source of information for those who plan to attend or exhibit at the show and as a portal to issues that will be discussed and technology to be showcased. Among the information currently available on the site:

  • Registration Materials Latest Convention News and Information
  • Exhibitor Lists
  • Attendee Profiles and Demographics
  • Interactive Hotel Map with Detailed Descriptions
