House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rogers Cybersecurity Event [VIDEO ADDED]

UPDATE: Video of the event has been posted online.

On Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 8:00 a.m., House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers will discuss new bipartisan legislation he will introduce in Congress to address the ongoing, severe threat that American businesses face today in cyberspace. America's manufacturers and innovators are suffering "death by a thousand cuts" from cyber espionage being conducted every day against nearly every sector of our economy. These cyber espionage attacks result in massive losses of private sector intellectual property and sensitive government information. The new bipartisan legislation to be introduced by Chairman Rogers will promote sharing of threat intelligence by the government to the private sector and will provide positive authority for the private sector to protect itself and share threat information, all without any new government regulations or mandates on industry. The event is sponsored by the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, US Telecom, and CTIA the Wireless Association.
