WASHINGTON, D.C. – Korn Ferry International, a leading global search firm with more than 80 offices in over 40 countries, has been retained by the Board of Directors of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) to conduct a nationwide search for a successor to Kyle McSlarrow as President & CEO of NCTA, NCTA said today.
Managing the search process for Korn Ferry will be Nels Olson, Managing Director of the Eastern Region for Korn Ferry in the U.S. and Senior Client Partner for Board & CEO Services. Any inquiries about the NCTA position may be directed to Olson at [email protected] or (202) 822-9444. Olson and Korn Ferry also managed the search in 2005 that resulted in the NCTA hiring of McSlarrow.
In conducting the search, Olson will report to Patrick Esser, Chairman of the Board of NCTA, and President of Cox Communications Inc. McSlarrow announced last month his intention to depart NCTA in the spring of 2011 and to pursue opportunities in cable operations and management.
