NCTA INTRODUCES ONLINE VIRTUAL TOUR OF THEATER AND RECEPTION FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO ITS MEMBER COMPANIES

The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) today introduced on its Web site (www.ncta.com/nctatheater) a virtual tour of the association's theater and reception room facilities. Web users can access panoramic views of the space, which is available free of charge to NCTA members interested in sponsoring theater screenings and special events in Washington.

Amenities include a 77-seat, THX-certified theater with state-of-the-art audio/visual presentation equipment, an adjoining Theater Reception Room for small-scale or standing receptions, and an additional Second-Floor Reception Room for larger events. NCTA also houses a fully equipped catering kitchen on its second floor.

"With the help of industry benefactors, NCTA constructed its theater in 1993 as an added value to our member companies," said Rob Stoddard, Senior Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs, NCTA. "Our objective is to help them raise awareness of the industry's quality and diverse original programming among policymakers and opinion leaders."

NCTA is the principal trade association of the cable television industry in the United States.
