WILL BECOME CEO OF COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE ORGANIZATION
Washington, D.C. --The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) today announced that Executive Vice President Peggy Binzel will be leaving the organization’s employ June 30. Effective July 1, Ms. Binzel will become the Chief Executive Officer of CoreNet Global, an Atlanta-based professional association representing over 6,000 U.S. and international corporate real estate executives.
“I’ve been privileged to have had the opportunity to represent this incredibly dynamic industry from my days at Turner Broadcasting to the Fox cable networks to NCTA,” said Ms. Binzel. “It is always hard to leave an industry you care so much about, but I am excited about my new opportunity and leave knowing that the cable industry remains in good standing in Washington and good hands at NCTA,” Binzel said.
“Peggy has been a great advocate for our industry and a valued colleague at NCTA,” said NCTA President & CEO Robert Sachs. “We wish her every success in her new venture.”
NCTA is the principal trade association of the cable television industry in the United States. NCTA represents cable operators serving more than 90 percent of the nation's cable television households and more than 200 cable program networks, as well as equipment suppliers and providers of other services to the cable industry.
