NCTA Announces New Additions to Government Relations Team

Washington, D.C. – NCTA – The Internet & Television Association announced two additions to its Government Relations team – Mansoor Abdul Khadir, Associate Vice President External Affairs, and Michael Pauls Jr., Vice President, Government Relations.

Khadir previously served at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in several leadership roles since 2017, including Senior Advisor to the Political and Coalitions Department and supporting the White House Office of Political Strategy and Outreach, as well as serving as Senior Aide to Chairs Tom Perez and Jaime Harrison. Before joining the DNC, Khadir was part of now-U.S. Senator Ben Ray Lujan’s team at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and he also managed private-public partnerships for Share Our Strength and was a Resident Political Party Trainer for the National Democratic Institute in Egypt, helping organize activists in the aftermath of the Arab Spring.

Pauls joins NCTA from USTelecom, where he served as a Senior Director, Government Affairs. Before joining USTelecom, Pauls served as a Confidential Assistant in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Pauls also previously served on the Biden 2020 Presidential campaign in North Carolina and in the offices of Congressman Donald Norcross (D-NJ) and Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett (D-VI). Pauls got his start in telecom at NCTA, when he served as a Government Relations Intern after college.
