CTAM Broadband Opportunity Conference Offers "Added Value" To Cable 2002

CTAM BROADBAND OPPORTUNITY CONFERENCE OFFERS "ADDED VALUE" TO CABLE 2002

 


Washington, D.C. - A focus on bringing advanced broadband services to market will highlight sessions of the CTAM Broadband Opportunity Conference, which for the first time is being held in conjunction with Cable 2002, the 51st Annual Convention & International Exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), May 5-8, 2002, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.

The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and NCTA today announced details for the Sunday Opening General Session followed by a four-day track of sessions, designed to take a strategic look at the marketing of broadband and related services. The Broadband Opportunity Conference is open to all registered NCTA convention delegates.

"Through advanced broadband technology, cable is leading the way in providing the products consumers want," said Char Beales, President & CEO, CTAM. "The Broadband Opportunity Conference is designed to complement the offerings of the National Show by helping marketing professionals and operations executives develop a better understanding of new broadband products, and how to best communicate the benefits to customers."

The Sunday General Session, "Bringing Broadband to Market," will kick-off both the Broadband Opportunity Conference and Cable 2002 on Sunday, May 5. Scheduled for the La Louisiane Ballroom of the Morial Convention Center from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., the panel will feature key industry leaders presenting their thoughts on how to most effectively develop, deploy and market broadband and related services. Participants include:
