What
A job fair on June 11, 2013 to connect military veterans, reservists, guardsmen and their spouses with cable operating companies, television networks and technology companies that are seeking new employees. Companies will be conducting on-site interviews and testing for nationwide jobs, and attendees can attend career guidance workshops aimed at improving job search skills.
Who
U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation in partnership with NCTA, the Cable & Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA), and local industry partners are conducting this event.
More than a dozen cable industry companies have signed up to participate in the event.

Why
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has an ambitious goal: Get 1 million military service heroes hired by 2014. Cable wants to help recruit veterans who will help lead this exciting industry to continued success for years to come.
