NCTA issued a Call for Presentation Proposals, launching a new initiative as part of the annual CIO.IT track for Chief Information Officers and Information Technology (IT) executives at The Cable Show 2010 in Los Angeles May 11-13, 2010. 

The Cable Show 2010 will mark the third consecutive year for the industry’s “CableCares” initiative – including the popular “Battle of the Bands.” 

NCTA has announced a schedule of cable industry meetings, events and conferences for 2010. Numerous events are planned for three separate weeks – in Los Angeles, New York and New Orleans – during the year.
