“We applaud the Senate Commerce Committee for approving the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, an important bill that will improve America’s cyber defense. The changes adopted by the Committee throughout the process have significantly improved the legislation and will enable government and the private sector to work together to develop emergency response plans that will combat cyber threats and protect our nation’s critical broadband infrastructure.”
