NCTA’s McSlarrow Challenges Network Neutrality Arguments That Stand the First Amendment “On its Head”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Proponents who suggest that new network neutrality rules would advance First Amendment values are “standing the First Amendment on its head” to justify regulations that instead threaten First Amendment rights, National Cable & Telecommunications (NCTA) President & CEO Kyle McSlarrow said today in speech before the Media Institute titled, “Net Neutrality:  First Amendment Rhetoric in Search of the Constitution.”
