NEW ORLEANS, LA - Michael S. Willner, President and CEO of Insight Communications, was re-elected for a second term as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) during a board meeting held today at the Cable 2002 national convention in New Orleans. Glenn A. Britt, Chairman and CEO, Time Warner Cable, was elected vice-chairman. Re-elected as secretary and treasurer respectively were John J. Rigas, President, CEO and Chairman of the Board, Adelphia Communications Corp. and Brian L. Roberts, President, Comcast Corporation.
In addition to the officers, immediate past Chairman Joseph J. Collins (Chairman and CEO, AOL Time Warner Interactive Video), and NCTA President and CEO Robert Sachs, the NCTA Executive Committee will include:
