NCTA also announced the line-up for the Tuesday, May 7, Cable 2002 General Session that will further highlight the contribution of cable's programming and content.
"We're delighted to have strong participation by all the major programmers," said Barbara York, NCTA Senior Vice President of Industry Affairs and Chief Administrative Officer. "More than ever, cable is setting the standard for providing exciting, high-quality programming and content to American viewers."
York said NCTA's decision to offer "executive suites" on the Exhibition Floor has been a popular move that has facilitated participation by many networks. York noted that at the corporate level, 14 networks opted for the suites, while 31 will return in traditional exhibit booths.
