Washington, D.C.- The Vanguard Awards, the cable industry's highest honor, will be presented on Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at a special luncheon during NCTA's 50th Annual Convention and International Exposition, June 10 - 13, 2001 in Chicago, Illinois. Nominations for the Awards are due to the Awards Committee on or before Friday, March 30, 2001.

Award winners are nominated by the NCTA membership and selected by an Awards Committee comprised of members from the NCTA Board of Directors as well as former Award winners.

First-Ever Conference Center


To help facilitate sealing that important deal, NCTA will offer a suite of full service meeting rooms for private corporate functions during Cable 2001. The Cable 2001 Conference Center will be available to NCTA members and exhibiting companies.

Conference Center rooms will be conveniently located on the first level of the convention center. Rooms will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10 through Wednesday, June 13, 2001 and may be reserved for a minimum of one hour up to a maximum of four hours on any day.
