The following statement can be attributed to NCTA President & CEO Michael Powell:

“Tom Rutledge has dedicated his entire professional life to the cable industry and we wish him only the best in the future.  Tom has not only been a visionary leader for Cablevision but the entire industry has benefitted from his passion to make cable more innovative and future-focused.  His enthusiasm for cable’s potential and ability to execute a vision that made Cablevision an industry standard-bearer will be missed.  As a former chairman of NCTA’s board and valuable long-time contributor as an executive committee member, we thank him for his guidance and leadership.   While Tom will be missed, his legacy will live at Cablevision and throughout the industry for decades to come.”
