“We applaud Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy, Ranking Member Chuck Grassley, and Senator Orrin Hatch for introducing the PROTECT IP Act of 2011, timely legislation that brings together many players in the Internet ecosystem to fight piracy.  This bill is important to addressing the growing issues of online piracy and illegal content distribution that are hurting America’s content industry and consumers.  We look forward to working with Chairman Leahy and the other members of the Committee as this legislation moves through the Senate.”
