WASHINGTON, D.C. – With back-to-school and autumn quickly approaching, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) reminded cable industry executives today that they can register for all Cable Connection – Fall events in one place, at one time, at www.cableconnectionfall.com.
A full slate of cable industry meetings, events and conferences is on tap for “Cable Connection Week” in Denver, October 25 – 30, 2009. Full details on the events and registration are available at www.cableconnectionfall.com.
In addition to easy registration, registrants can save up to $350 when purchasing their registration passes for Cable Connection - Fall events. This instant rebate can also be used on a wide range of programs, events and passes associated with Cable Connection - Fall.
In March 2008, NCTA’s Board of Directors approved a plan to realign the national industry meetings and events produced by cable associations and professional societies into two weeks – one in the spring and one in the fall. While the overall schedule for Cable Connection – Fall has been cooperatively coordinated by the various organizations involved, each sponsoring organization is planning and executing its respective events.
“One of the best advantages to come from realigning industry conferences is that attendees now have the opportunity to engage in educational development activities staged by several organizations all in one place. Each partner organization together with their guiding committees has worked very hard to put together an incredibly focused slate of sessions and workshops that will prove invaluable. We have also worked to simplify and streamline the registration process and provide helpful discounts,” said Barbara York, Senior Vice President, Industry Affairs, NCTA. “Now’s the time to review the Cable Connection schedule and to register to have some great experiences in Denver in October.”
