WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Cable & Telecommunications Association, Inc. (NCTA), Louisiana Cable & Telecommunications Association, and Mississippi Cable Telecommunications Association today submitted comments to the FCC’s “Independent Panel Reviewing the Impact of Hurricane Katrina on Communications Networks.” The cable industry supports the Panel’s recommendations to improve resiliency and reliability of communications infrastructure and to strengthen response and recovery during an emergency.
