Cable Industry’s HIV/AIDS Efforts Through Cable Positive
Will Be Highlighted at Washington Cable Club Luncheon on Jan. 28
Two of the nation’s leading medical experts, including the co-discoverer of the HIV/AIDS virus, will discuss developments in the treatment of HIV/AIDS and the search for a vaccine, at the Washington Metropolitan Cable Club (WMCC) Luncheon on Wednesday, January 28.
The presentation will include a full update on the cable industry’s response to the AIDS pandemic through Cable Positive. Cable Positive is a cable industry non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of HIV/AIDS and to funding programs to support industry-related individuals whose lives have been affected by the virus.
