On Thursday, May 7th, the Hispanic Federation hosted its 2009 Annual Gala Taking Hispanic Causes to Heart. Kyle E. McSlarrow, President and CEO of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association, received the Legacy Award, which pays tribute to those whose accomplishments in the business and philanthropic worlds establish them as prominent leaders in these areas.

Established in 1990, the Hispanic Federation is a service-oriented membership organization that works with over 90 Latino health and human services agencies to promote the social, political and economic well-being of the Latino community.
