The issue of “network neutrality” is confusing and defined by different parties in different ways. But there is a clear answer to this question – “What will it mean for consumers if net neutrality proponents are able to convince Congress to impose new regulations on the Internet and broadband services?” Even network neutrality proponents agree on the answer – consumer prices will increase. Congress should reject intrusive regulation that would stifle innovation in broadband networks and act as a tax on broadband, slowing its growth and reach to all Americans.
