OVATION - The Arts Network

Cable Network

Founded in 1996, Ovation TV is the only national cable network focusing on entertaining, inspiring, empowering and celebrating the artist in each of us. A key element of Ovation TV’s programming strategy addresses the importance of the arts in local communities across the country, achieved through marketing partnerships and relationships with local cultural and arts organizations and local educational systems and institutions.

The 24-hour channel is currently available in more than five million households and maintains carriage in key art-centric and cultural markets including New York City, San Diego, Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Antonio Tampa/St. Petersburg and Orlando. Ovation TV expects to have an expanded national distribution presence by mid-2007. As a result of recently being acquired by new investors, Ovation TV is now also better positioned to showcase the world’s greatest artists and achievements in theater, dance, opera, music, literature, film and the visual arts. By creating partnerships with the leading cultural and arts institutions and organizations in the world, Ovation TV will gain sole access to the highest caliber cultural and creative program content. That will allow the channel to present the arts on television in innovative ways and across multiple platforms. The end result will be to make the arts more accessible to more people and provide an outlet for viewers to express themselves and incorporate their own personal creativity and artistic passions into their lives.

Investors in Ovation TV include, Arcadia Investment Partners, Corporate Partners II, Hubbard Media Group, Perry Capital and The Weinstein Company.
