The Filipino Channel
Cable Network
ABS-CBN International’s flagship product is The Filipino Channel (TFC), the first 24-hour service offering all-Filipino programming available on cable, video on-demand, internet protocol television (IPTV) and satellite. It carries several program genres to suit viewers’ profile and preferences: dramas, comedies, news, current affairs, musical varieties, talk shows, magazines, youth programs, sports, movies, and religious programs.
Distributed by major cable operators as well as satellite operators, TFC has an estimated over a million U.S. Filipino viewers watching the Tagalog-language premium programming service 24/7 in North America. With content coming both from Manila and the U.S., TFC provides one of the country’s leading Filipino news and entertainment programs to its subscribers.
ABS-CBN International has always remained steadfast in its commitment of bringing the best of the Philippines with programs that keep Filipinos informed, entertained, in touch with what’s happening in the Philippines, and help 2nd and 3rd generation Filipino-Americans feel closer to their culture. It has also become the strongest media link of marketers to the ever-growing and robust Filipino market in the U.S.
