This emotionally gripping one hour drama explores the personal and emotional stories centered on the rapidly expanding field of women’s health. "Strong Medicine" follows the challenges, victories and disappointments faced by two very different doctors with polarized theories on the practice of medicine when they are forced to run a women’s medical clinic together. "Strong Medicine" stars Rosa Blasi as Dr. Lu Delgado; Rick Schroder as Dr. Dylan West; Jenifer Lewis as Lana Hawkins; Tamera Mowry as Kayla Thornton; Josh Coxx as Peter Riggs, RN; and Nestor Carbonell as Jonas Ray. Executive producers are Whoopi Goldberg and Tammy Ader. Launched in July 2000, "Strong Medicine" concludes its sixth season this year with 132 original episodes, making it the longest-running original drama ever created for basic cable. "Strong Medicine" is produced by Columbia TriStar Domestic Television, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, for Lifetime.
