Communications & Public Affairs Internship

The Communications and Public Affairs Department employs one intern per semester (including summer). NCTA represents its members, the cable systems and networks, before Congress, the FCC and the court system. The Communications & Public Affairs Department is responsible for the industry’s educational and public affairs initiatives, media relations and public information. Interns work 15-20 hours/wk, at $10.50/hr. Responsibilities include: writing, research, special event assistance, general office duties, and database entry. Interns must be full-time college students, preferably in their junior or senior years, with a demonstrated interest in the communications industry.
